Watertown Public Seeks an excepetional Lunch Monitor for the Cunniff School.The lunch monitor will be responsible for:monitoring student behavior during meal service; assisting with the cleanliness of the cafeteria, recycling; assisting with the flow of meal service. Duties are performed under the general supervision of the principal/assistant principal with consultation from the WPS Food and Nutrition Services Department.
Responsibilities
Supervision of lunch periods
Assist in the delivery of lunches
Assure the safety of students during lunch periods both inside and outside of the school building
Assist in the clean up of the lunch areas at the end of lunch periods
Ensure the cleanliness of tables and surrounding areas during and between lunch periods.
To sweep under tables between lunches.
To assist students with cleaning up spills on tables and floors.
To look for and clean spills around garbage cans and other areas that can create slip hazards.
Communicate with custodial staff for larger spills.
Replace trash cans, or provide additional supplies.
Other duties as assigned by the building department
Qualifications
High school diploma
Experience working with children is required
Required criminal history background check
Successful candidates must be organized and patient
