J2EE Developer

Position: J2EE Developer

Location: Albany, NY (Hybrid:four months onsite, followed by hybrid work arrangement)

Mandatory Requirements

We are seeking candidates who meet the following qualifications:

• Proficient in J2EE technologies, including EJB, JDBC, JSP, and XML.
• Hands-on experience in Java programming within an IBM development environment, utilizing IBM's Rational Application Developer (RAD) IDE, deployed to WebSphere Application Server (WAS).
• Strong background in IBM DB2, including working with DB2 databases and expertise in XML schemas (definition, querying, and automated generation).
• Prior experience in a government organization, involving business knowledge, technical design, development, maintenance, and end user support of complex systems.
• Proven expertise in performance tuning applications that interact with databases.
• Familiarity with IBM MQSeries.
• Experience working with an organization, encompassing technical design, development, maintenance, and end user support of complex systems.
• Solid experience in system analysis and design for multi-tiered transactional systems, along with the ability to write technical design specification documents for multifaceted component-based systems.
