What to Expect:

  • This full-time (Monday through Friday) from 8am to 5pm position is onsite at our Stevens Point, WI facility.
  • Develop specific annual strategies to improve equipment reliability, improve maintenance spending efficiency, and achieve service requirements for our customers.
  • Manage capital development, spending, and installations to sustain operations, support strategic initiatives and reduce costs while meeting financial expectation along with capital monthly forecast. Manage current year and 5–10-year strategic capital process.
  • Develop, maintain, and communicate maintenance efficiency metrics that are measured by a combination of leading, proactive indicators that tie directly to business performance metrics.
  • Develop and maintain a robust preventative maintenance system that is designed and prioritized based on equipment criticality. Define, deploy, and manage maintenance technology solutions to ensure maintenance execution and efficiency linked to metric performance and with a focus on managing and modifying work system to create continuous improvement in the maintenance area.
  • Develop sustainable OpEx programs that leverage lean tool around for Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) as the vehicle for identifying preventative work, contingency plans, and to ensure risks are managed.
  • Serve as business partner to Vice President of Operations in creation and execution of Operational Excellence strategies to enhance predictive and preventative solutions that link directly to business performance metrics and create future advantages in maintenance performance.
  • Lead corporate-wide program in developing, prioritizing, and managing the execution of capital to drive growth, sustaining and cost savings capital initiatives.
  • Manage and facilitate capital justification process through collaboration with corporate resources. Manage current year and 5–10-year strategic capital process. Maintain accurate and updated capital monthly forecast.
  • Manage with a high level of balanced accountability for yourself, direct reports, and hourly workforce.
  • Show definitive leadership in the development of employee skills and talents with respect to the development of succession planning.
  • Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies, expectations, and applicable laws. Responsibilities include but not limited to interview, hire, and train employees; plan, assign, and direct work; change management; performance review process; reward/recognize and coach/discipline employees; address complaints and resolve problems.

What You Will Contribute:

  • Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, or a related field preferred. Relevant certifications or technical training in maintenance and engineering disciplines.
  • EXPERIENCE: Minimum of 10 years of experience in maintenance and engineering roles, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, memos, emails, SOP’s, labeling instructions, and other materials required. Ability to write legible short correspondence. Ability to effectively present information to other employees of the organization. Must effectively demonstrate the ability to communicate in English, both verbally and in written format.
  • REASONING ABILITY: Ability to apply common sense understanding and carry out instructions furnished in written and oral form.
