Headquartered in London, you'll be joining a global company and working across talented cross-functional teams to drive innovation and make a significant impact.

Your role at Vertice:

Reporting to our Regional Sales Director and working closely with the senior management team and CEO you'll be responsible for helping to lead and scale the Vertice sales function and GTM strategy within the European market. We have major ambitions and you'll be directly responsible for our success within this market. You'll hire and lead a team of top talent, focus on converting deals and hitting ambitious revenue targets from your moment of touchdown.

Responsibilities

  • Recruit, manage and develop outstanding talent for our Europe sales team in London
  • Collaborate closely with Marketing and Product teams to build and maintain a coherent commercial strategy and execution
  • Take ownership of the Europe sales target and personally lead on major prospects
  • Manage the effective engagement of a high volume of $50k ACV opportunities with short sales cycles through your sales team
  • Ensure maintenance of accurate sales records and interactions, and maintain a robust and accurate revenue pipeline
  • Leverage any existing relationships you have in Europe to push forward deals from within your contact book

Requirements

  • You'll have at least 2 years of experience managing a sales team.
  • You'll have 5 years of SaaS sales, selling to CFOs, CTOs or other senior business leaders. You'll have built and run a successful sales team previously, and have the numbers to prove it.
  • You'll have a background in early-stage, high-growth agile businesses
  • SaaS or Cloud experience preferred, with extensive experience selling to CFOs, CTOs or other senior business leaders
  • You'll be a self-starter who can create a GTM strategy and playbook from scratch but is also proven in scaling and leading large teams
  • You have previously hired and developed top-performing consultative sales teams
  • You drive a culture of accountability. You're personally willing to commit to targets and deadlines and deliver on time and budget
  • Strategic mindset with a hands-on approach
  • You'll be ambitious, driven, hungry, entrepreneurial, low ego, as much EQ as IQ, self-start, team player
  • Can speak either German, French or Spanish.
