The Procurement Business Analyst will play a crucial role in supporting Unilabs' procurement operations by providing data analysis, insights, and reporting. This position requires a strong understanding of procurement processes, data analysis techniques, and business intelligence tools. The successful candidate will collaborate with the procurement team to optimize procurement strategies, identify cost-saving opportunities, and monitor supplier performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Data Analysis and Reporting:
Collect, analyze, and interpret procurement data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement
Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and KPIs to track procurement performance and provide actionable insights
Procurement Strategy Support:
Assist in the development and implementation of procurement strategies and initiatives to drive cost savings, improve supplier relationships, and enhance operational efficiency
Conduct market research and supplier analysis to support informed decision-making
Supplier Performance Monitoring:
Monitor and evaluate supplier performance against established KPIs and SLAs
Identify and address issues or gaps in supplier performance, working closely with the procurement team to drive improvements
Process Improvements:
Identify opportunities for streamlining procurement processes and improving efficiency
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements and standardization initiatives
Stakeholder Collaboration:
Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including procurement, finance, and operations, to support their data and reporting needs
Provide ad-hoc analysis and reports to support decision-making and enable data-driven insights
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or a related field
Proven experience (3-5 years) in procurement, data analysis, or business intelligence
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manipulate and interpret large datasets
Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools, such as Excel, Power BI, or Tableau
Knowledge of procurement processes, supplier management, and cost optimization strategies
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
Experience in the healthcare or pharmaceutical industry is a plus
Fluency in English is mandatory. Additional language proficiency is a plus
