Analyst (junior)

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Junior Investment Manager to join our Innovation Fund team. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for identifying promising investment opportunities, a strong analytical mindset, and a passion for fostering innovation. This role involves actively scouting for potential investments, evaluating focus areas, and supporting various stages of the investment process, including financial analysis and market research.

Main responsibilities:

• Conduct market and competition analyses, including desktop research and web searches on competitors and market parties.
• Analyze interesting startups and markets in preparation for conversations with founders.
• Perform financial analysis, build financial models, and contribute to deepening our investment theses on focus areas.
• Evaluate business plans on a financial, strategic, and commercial basis; prepare presentations and investment proposals, and
• Assist in transaction processes, including due diligence, valuation, and preparation of investment proposals.

We are a small team consisting of a Fund Manager, an Investment Director, an Investment Manager and an Associate, as well as a general administrative employee. We offer you:

Jouw achtergrond

• You have a university degree in a field like Finance, Business, Financial Management, Economics, Econometrics or another related financial-economic field
• You speak two European languages fluently and have a EU work permit
• You are self-starting, a pioneer and have a responsible and innovative mindset;
• Affinity with strategy, venture capital, startups/scale-ups and innovative business models;
• You are a team player and able to work with different types of people;
• You have above average experience with Microsoft Office in general and in particular with Microsoft Excel.
