Specify, design and document electronic circuit boards and PCB subassemblies technical solutions to meet specific application requirements.
Undertake all aspects of electronics PCB circuits design for power electronics systems such as, gating electronics for power semiconductors. This requires semiconductor device domain knowledge of: Diodes, Thyristors, IGBTs, GTOs, IGCT, MOSFETS, SiC, GaN, etc.
Specify, design, document and maintain; analogue & digital signal processing boards, low voltage power supply units, digital/analogue/wireless communication boards etc.
Verification, validation, testing of electronic circuit boards and PCB subassemblies.
Application of engineering standards and development of design practices.
Development and maintenance of new and existing PCB and PCBA designs.
Production or supervision of the PCB layout process.
Generation of the manufacturing information package.
Liaison with potential manufacturers.
Prototype production and initial testing.
