Your Role

Mission :

To support the integration of GECIA’s services in Vacuum Technique Business Area in establishing “First in Mind, First in Choice” for its Industrial Vacuum division, Scientific Vacuum division and Vacuum technique Service division.
As Lead Engineer, the incumbent is required to support Program Lead in the market for GECIA services and be responsible for monitoring and coordinating the business leads with the Practice Team. Build & develop the Project management team. Maintain the effective utilization of the team.

Key Responsibilities:

Customer Focus

  • Project Lead for Scientific Vacuum Division Projects.
  • Create & maintain various Dashboards providing clear KPI overview on Planning, resource availability, work in hand and quality.
  • Communicate progress and deliverable updates to the stakeholders, raise red flags and highlight any concerns to all stakeholders. Demonstrate GECIA’s contribution to all the projects.
  • Collaborate with projects and practice teams internally on day-to-day basis to ensure that these teams continue to meet & exceed the customer expectations.
  • Regular Quality follow up for SVD.
  • Identify innovative ways of Atomizing the existing processes of Product company which help to execute the project with high accuracy & in more effective way.
  • Target scientific Vacuum Division to ensure rapid and accelerated introduction of Emerging Services of GECIA through active product & value demonstrations.
  • To forecast the sales development periodically and track & report status of growth, activities planned for future, forecast, red flags, support required etc. monthly.
  • To maintain a healthy & forward-looking relationship with the divisional leadership teams & Practice team.
  • Communicate progress and deliverable updates to the stakeholders, raise red flags and highlight any concerns to all stakeholders.


People Focus

  • Create and develop subject matter experts in various domains, who in turn can establish GECIA firmly as competence center.
  • Create the Team spirit towards Driving Customer Success & Improving Business Results
  • Instil “CAN DO; WILL DO” attitude in the team
  • Help Team members identify their purpose. Provide inputs for performance review and planning. Suggest improvement areas and Mentor team.
  • Maintain a positive team moral with an open atmosphere of teamwork and co-operation.


Operational Excellence

  • Fully understand & adapt to Activity based costing, to allow optimum mix, better alignment of GECIA resources & Partner Resources and define work to be carried out by Vendors and GECIA resources.


Process Focus

  • Create, Develop & maintain the Knowledge & skill management Portals, Databases, etc. to document the knowledge about Product, Process, People & Tool. Identify trainings required by the team.
  • Map the processes followed in Product Companies.


To succeed, you will need

Essential:

  • Engineering graduate with 6-8 years of experience in engineering & Project Management/Coordination.
  • Business and result orientated attitude with strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Strategic leader with an open-minded personality and customer-oriented attitude
  • Strong team player.
  • Fluency in English is a must.


Desirable:

  • PMP certification or Project Management experience.
  • Technical knowledge and hands on experience related to scientific vacuum products, processes, and people.


Knowledge

  • Self-motivated
  • Good standard of presentation and analytical skills
  • Excellent Written and Verbal Communication Skills


Additional Information

  • Position will need extensive travelling internationally.
  • Valid passport
