IT Operations Manager

JOB PURPOSE:

We are seeking an experienced IT Operations Coordinator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for establishing, overseeing and coordinating major IT operational tasks including (Major-) Incident Management, Problem Management, and IT Service Request Management. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with strong organizational and communication skills to ensure the smooth functioning of our IT operations. Close collaboration with the CORE SAP S/4 program and the legacy ECC IT Operations will be essential, ensuring seamless integration and alignment with existing IT landscapes.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Establish and oversee IT Service Operations processes between CORE and Legacy Operations Organizations e.g. (Major-) Incident Management, IT Service Request Management, Problem Management.
• Oversee and manage (Major-) Incident Management, ensuring timely and effective resolution of critical IT issues.
• Coordinate Problem Management activities, including root cause analysis and implementing preventive measures to minimize recurring issues.
• Facilitate Continuous Service Improvement focusing on improving operational processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless communication and coordination during operational incidents and changes.
• Maintain documentation related to e.g. incident, problem, and change management processes and outcomes.
• Management of and collaboration with external IT Operations supplier as well as SAP (Rise with SAP)
  
  

WHO YOU ARE:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field or equivalent work experience
• Proven experience in IT Operations, with a focus on (Major-) Incident Management, Problem Management, Service Request Management and Continuous Service Improvement especially in a regulated (GxP) environment and / or SAP S/4HANA and SAP BTP
• Experience with DevOps and Agile methodologies, facilitating efficient collaboration strategies
• Experience with IT Service Management (ITSM) tools such as ServiceNow, SAP Solution Manager.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex technical issues and provide effective solutions.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with various teams and stakeholders. Previous experience working internationally or within cross-cultural teams is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of ITIL framework and best practices.
• Ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
