Our client is leading global investment firm with over 70 billion in AUM. They are seeking a VP of Data to lead their data technology team. In this role, you'll be responsible for designing and implementing data analytics and reporting solutions tailored to their investment strategies.
This role will entail leading out a centralized data team while working closely with all cross functional business teams including investment, operations, and compliance teams. Candidates will work to leverage AI to enhance investment making decisions and operational processes, manage and mentor a group of IT professionals, and collaborate with internal teams and vendors to develop and integrate solutions. Responsibilities include leading the development of data analytics/reporting solutions for various stakeholders, collaborating with offsite teams, and continuously enhancing data access and dashboard functionalities.
Degree in Data Science, AI, Computer Science, or related field
10 years of relevant experience within the financial industry with AI and Data Analytics
Previous leadership/mentorship experience
Experience with cloud based data platforms (AWS, Azure, Snowflake)
