Senior Vice President, Financial Planning & Analysis


What We Need

Corpay is currently looking to hire an Senior Vice President of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) and is located in Nashville, TN. In this role, you will be responsible for leading value-added analysis, all financial planning activities (budgeting and forecasting) and strategic support. You will report directly to the Senior Vice President and regularly collaborate with other senior executives to drive growth and achieve financial objectives.

Role Responsibilities

The responsibilities of the role will include:

  • Leading the development and implementation of comprehensive financial planning and analysis processes, including budgeting, forecasting, and long-range strategic planning
  • Collaborating with senior leadership to define and execute financial strategies aligned with the company's overall objectives and growth initiatives.
  • Providing strategic insights and analysis to support decision-making on key business initiatives, investments, and resource allocation.
  • Developing and maintaining financial models to evaluate business performance, assess risks and opportunities, and drive continuous improvement.
  • Monitoring financial performance against key performance indicators (KPIs) and benchmarks, providing regular updates and actionable recommendations to senior management.
  • Driving process improvements and efficiency gains within the financial planning and analysis function, leveraging technology and best practices.
  • Conducting actionable data analytics on critical projects and investments such as new product innovation, sales initiatives, financial and capital structure, including assessment in financial markets and performance anticipating multi-year value creation per our sponsors
  • Driving capabilities, including front-end user tools and capability of our teams as well as partnering with technology on back-end platforms and processes
  • Designing and deploying best-in-class financial planning and business intelligence processes, systems, and tools to create a highly efficient, effective, and scalable FP&A function
  • Proactively driving significant ad-hoc projects and analysis of key business issues illuminating introspection
  • Driving, creating and maintaining accurate P&L
  • Driving mid and long-term pricing strategy and tactics adapting for potential changes in market environment and competition. Evaluating and recommending pricing models for new and existing products, where warranted
  • Developing and maintaining business and financial models to support decision-making processes
  • Managing a high-performing team of finance professionals, providing mentorship, coaching, and development opportunities to foster growth and excellence.


Qualifications & Skills

  • Proven track record of at least 10 years of progressive experience in financial planning and analysis roles, with a minimum of 5 years in leadership positions.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • Experience providing critical input, regarding the operational and financial performance of the company, including recommendations for action.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to constructively explain business challenges to non-financial people as well as to effectively work cross-functionally with a variety of shareholders at multiple levels.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities, including the ability to inspire and motivate teams, drive change, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Proficiency in financial software and tools, such as ERP systems, BI tools, and Microsoft Excel; experience with data visualization tools is a plus.
  • Experience developing, implementing and maintaining short, mid and long-term planning and forecasting models.
  • A history of driving an efficient, effective and comprehensive process for developing financial plans and budgets that link to key corporate objectives, ensuring that all budgets and forecasts are accurate, comprehensive and completed on time
  • Creativity, flexibility and an entrepreneurial mindset to the solution of business issues; sound business judgment
  • The ability to keep teams on track and consistently meet and exceed deadlines
  • Meticulous attention to detail, organization and prioritization with a high level of integrity and principles that embrace transparency CPA, CFA, or other relevant professional certifications preferred.
