The Senior Analyst, Revenue Cycle will provide business analysis and reporting support to client on-site teams and department leadership by identifying, evaluating, designing and developing various reports related to AR and Revenue. He or she will implement and maintain reports and reporting solutions that will be used as tools to enhance standard operation workflows and metrics. He or she will be instrumental in assuring the predictable and reliable operation of revenue cycle systems through proactive identification of issues, reactive issue response, issue prioritization, and timely resolution of production system exceptions. He or she will perform configuration of systems, provide quality assurance through testing, and contribute to both incremental and transformational RCM projects as a Billing Systems resource. He or she will work closely with the Manager of RCM Process Design and Improvement to drive efficiencies in the Billing Team’s workflow processes, as well as ensuring accuracy and tracking of Billing System updates/changes, while subsequently assisting in education of the entire RCM team on the effects of the updates/changes made in the system.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Support RCM/Reimbursement Team in all initiatives, related to reporting and analytics. Developing reports out of SQL/Databricks will be an essential part of this role.
Working closely with Manager to drive efficiency and workflow improvements for the RCM Team
Create, develop and produce reports (accounts receivable aging reports, regular operational reporting at specified intervals, and special ad-hoc reports)
Analyze payer contract compliance and monitor denial trends
Respond to information requests and provide documentary information to support the business needs, clients, and business partners
Build and maintain reports for recurring and ad-hoc purposes; create new reports
Identify problems and resolve them logically and independently while updating support tickets in a timely manner

Conduct complex data analysis and data interpretation
Develop efficiencies to increase the effectiveness of reporting, consolidate and maintain department reports used internally and externally
Ensure reports have minimal errors by developing, correcting, and executing comprehensive testing plan of modifications, new codes, etc.
Identify opportunities for process improvement for receipt of data and reporting
Assist with special projects as needed
A Successful Candidate Must Possess
Bachelor Degree in Finance, Business, Computer Science, or related field required
A minimum of five (5) years of experience required. Experience must include:
Providing healthcare specialized application support of end user applications
Experience in Healthcare Revenue Cycle Organization and billing systems
Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Access, Word, Excel, Outlook, and general working knowledge of Internet for business use
Experience with data warehouses, SQL server, Databricks, and/or other report coding languages
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to work on multiple tasks without sacrificing quality, attention to detail, and ability to interact with staff at all levels
