Join the West Area Senior Leadership Team to drive sales growth in the West. In this role, you will develop targeted growth programs, lead sales teams, diversify our industry portfolio, and leverage our installed base to profitably grow top-line sales. Join our dynamic and diverse team, which covers western U.S. and western Canada! The ideal candidate will be located in Denver, or another major city in the western U.S.

The Sales Director will lead the development and execution of strategies aimed at achieving profitable growth across various sales channels in the West Area. Supporting the Area Vice President, you will play an integral part of the West Area Leadership Team, focusing on tracking, forecasting, and driving sales performance.

In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

  • Work closely with the Direct Sales Channel, Impact Partners, and Business Unit management to implement sales growth initiatives and drive incremental, profitable topline growth.
  • Lead and drive results for assigned Business Unit or World Area growth programs that could include core products focus, lifecycle services, sustainability, reliability, industry diversification, digital sales, competitive displacements, and more.
  • Lead area sales efforts for specified key accounts, sustainability and emerging markets, and other assigned critical initiatives
  • Advise Area Vice President on strategies to strengthen existing customer base, capitalize on changing markets, and grow non-traditional markets.
  • Ensure a collaborative culture and focus on long term goals across all platforms and growth objectives.
  • Focus on talent development and coordinate learning and development programs to ensure area sales force is prepared both technically and commercially to sell products and services.
  • Provide input and drive effective channel management programs such as territory coverage models; monthly forecasting, budgeting, and goal setting; Impact Partner cross-selling; and analyzing sales performance metrics.
  • Act as sponsor for assigned customer accounts and/or industry segments.
  • May supervise, lead, empower, support, and develop Regional Sales Managers.
  • Expect self-starter attitude to think out of the box, challenge the status quo to drive customer excellence and in turn drive incremental topline sales growth.

For This Role, You Will Need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Business is required
  • A minimum of 8-10 years of sales leadership experience in the industry
  • Proven experience in leading and developing teams
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States (sponsorship is not available for this position)

Our training programs and initiatives focus on end-to-end development, from onboarding through senior leadership. We provide a wide range of development opportunities, including face-to-face and virtual training, mentorship and coaching, project management, and on-the-job training.

Our compensation philosophy is simple: We pay a competitive base salary, within the local market in which we operate, and reward performance during the annual merit review process. The salary range for this role is $101,808-$162,573, commensurate with the skills, talent, capabilities, and experience each candidate brings to this role.
