Summary/Objective
USADeBusk HSE Nitro-Lift – Safety Manager will manage and coordinate “Safety” in the field and within EHS Insight systems for our Nitro-Lift branches and client location projects.
Responsibilities
Works with and through management, to ensure compliance with HSE procedures and to assist in the achievement of profitability/productivity requirements.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Conduct HSE Audits.
Create and manage CBT's and SOP Training for division.
Assists with Field Services training matrix.
Monitor branches to ensure USA DeBusk compliance and expectations are met.
Work with other branch Safety personnel to set baseline expectations based on Corporate Safety guidelines.
Establish training partnerships for OQ, API, Safety Councils’, and OSHA where they are not already in place.
Merge Field Services Standard Operating Procedures with USA DeBusk Standard Operating Procedures and generate new SOPs as required.
Provides support in training branch administrators in documenting and recording all employee training in EHS Insight.
Assist in the implementation of USA DeBusk Core Values, Corporate and Safety standards. Assists, plans, and implements safety policies and procedures in compliance with local, state, and federal rules and regulations including Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and Department of Transportation (DOT) etc...
Advises HSE leadership relating to safety compliance concerns and preventative actions.
Performs HSE audits and inspections, prepares written reports of findings and recommendations for corrective or preventive measures indicated and follows up to ensure measures have been implemented.
Conducts post-accident investigation and prepares reports identifying possible accident causes and hazards for use by company personnel and senior management.
Assists in the development, evaluation and upgrading of safety programs.
Skill Sets
Significant experience in OSHA & DOT regulatory requirements.
PHMSA Regulatory compliance background
Excellent Computer, communication skills, and training skills
Works independently and provides consultative advice within specific functional areas.
Applies advanced Health & Safety process principles to multiple tasks.
Proficient in area of specialization (pipeline) and contributes to other disciplines.
Identifies hazardous conditions/actions within the plant and recommends corrective measures.
Participates in and assists with “Investigations.”
Prepares presentations for “Safety Incidents” and property losses as needed.
Organizes and oversees safety training in EHS Insight.
Performs any other relevant duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in a relevant HSE discipline with at least 5 years HSE experience (preferred).
If no relevant degree, the possession of a COSS, CSST, or other related certifications is required plus 10 years HSE experience.
TWIC Card preferred
In-depth knowledge of OSHA Construction and General Industry standards
Working knowledge of fleet safety and DOT standards
Strong interpersonal skills
Ability to lead and teach a team.
Great attention to detail
Critical-thinking and problem-solving skills
Ability to explain technical concepts in simple terms.
Excellent organizational skills
Experience in Risk Management/Mitigation
Experience in Occupational Safety and Health Systems

Knowledge of industrial hygiene, air monitoring for heavy metals and asbestos, and noise abatement
Ability to work with all levels of the organization and exchange complex information.
Strong Problem-Solving skills
Clean driving record and background
Must be able to travel out of state as needed for special projects, etc.
Able to speak in front of large groups of people.
Physical Requirements
