Quality Engineering Manager

A growing Aerospace Manufacturing Company is looking to hire a Quality Manager to sit in Stamford, CT. In this position, you will manage a small team to ensure products meet quality standards. You will also implement and manage quality control systems. The ideal candidate will have experience working all aspects of quality engineering and inspections in the Aerospace industry. The successful individual will be part of a close-knit group with full exposure and involvement in all aspects of the company.

Quality Manager Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and manage quality control systems designed to ensure continuous production consistent with established standards, customer specifications and production.
• Manage the Quality Department.
• Ensure that all products meet Quality Standards.
• Maintain sub-contractors Quality Ratings.
• Member of the ISO Management Team.
• FAA Repair Station Repairman.
• Support ISO and AS9100 audits.
• Support customer audits.
• Conduct one-to-one reviews and performance Reviews.

Quality Manager Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree or years relevant experience.
• Experience working in an aerospace manufacturing environment, including both mechanical and electronics.
• Effective communication skills with ability to work in a strong team environment.
• Strong understanding of Quality Management System requirements inclusive of ISO 9001:2008 and/or AS9100 Standards.
• Great people skills. Will be interacting with all levels of the organization on an everyday basis.
