Summary

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced HVAC Technician to manage and maintain our HVAC systems in a pharmaceutical environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HVAC systems, with at least 5 years of hands-on experience, and a deep understanding of the specific requirements of HVAC systems in the pharmaceutical industry.

Description

• Ensure HVAC systems are operating efficiently and in compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Monitor and control environmental conditions within the facility to meet strict pharmaceutical standards.
• Collaborate with other maintenance and engineering teams to ensure seamless operation of all facility systems.
• Maintain detailed records of all maintenance and repair activities.
• Complete tasks such as mechanical and electrical troubleshooting and motor replacements when necessary. resolve HVACR system issues promptly and effectively.
• Responsible for daily maintenance checks. equipment start-up, monitoring, and efficient operation.
• Performs periodic inspections, tests, and preventive maintenance schedule and report findings. document all completed tasks via internal tracking system.
• Report all process problems to manager and recommend corrective actions.
• Check the job site for safe system operations and report to the company's management in writing any unsafe conditions or operations and the circumstances of any accidents.
• Strive to achieve the highest levels of maintenance performance to benefit the Customer's long-term satisfaction.
• Diagnose causes of HVAC systems problems and identify solutions.
• Maintain, operate, troubleshoot, and repair heating and air conditioning systems and/or components like pumps, motors, air handlers, VAV boxes, controls etc.
• Maintain and operate a computerized maintenance program.
  
  
  

Requirements

• Authorized to work in the US;
• High School Diploma or equivalent;
• Massachusetts Driver's License;
• Journeyman HVAC Technician's License;
• Five (5) years of experience in a similar position with mechanical or electrical experience;
• Computer literacy and MS Office computer skills;
• Ability to respond to emergencies on a 24-hour basis;
• Ability to bend, stoop, climb and crawl;
• Ability to work from ladders, lifts, scaffolding and in tight places;
• Ability to pass all background checks and obtain a security clearance at the required level as per client requirements;
• EPA Refrigeration technician license required;
• Knowledge of Building Management Systems;
• Knowledge of operation and maintenance of air and water systems in public, industrial or office building with a variable air volume HVAC system;
• Technical Education or a trade is a plus.

• Strong understanding of HVAC-related codes, standards, and regulations;
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals;
