Description
The Director, Customer Success - Franchise is responsible for tactical and strategic oversight of two delivery teams supporting the Midas and BigO lines of business. These teams provide support development, deployment, maintenance and support of the franchisees. The Director of Franchise Technology Delivery is a key contributor in managing the complex relationship between TBC Franchise management, TBC Technology and the franchisees.
Job Responsibilities
Functions as the primary interface between Midas, BigO and Franchisee leadership and TBC Technology.
Assists in the alignment of franchisee goals to TBC goals
Assists in the translation of operational business needs to executable technical deliveries
Management of the development contracts
Gathering franchisee business requirements
Gathering TBC franchise operations requirement
TBC shared services requirements
Serves as a primary point of escalation for any technology related issues
Budget planning and tracking for the Network Operations Team.
Develop and maintain communication plan to all key stakeholders including TBC senior leadership, franchisees and third party application developer/maintainers and Communicate to senior management on incident and problem management and project status
Participate in cross functional project planning as needed
Develop and implement initiatives and strategies for areas supported. Ensure strategies, objectives, and initiatives are in line with the overall corporate initiatives, strategies, and goals.
Manage Network Operations Team, employees, contractors and vendors which may include hiring.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
At least five years’ leadership experience in managing technology teams. Candidates with experience in automotive related fields are preferred.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology. Business or related field would be considered the minimum for this position.
Significant experience tactical and strategic management of a multi-disciplined technology team
Experience in vendor and customer relationship management
Experience in financial and budget management
Experience in management of software development contracts
Knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodologies
Knowledge of business and technical requirement gathering
Successful candidates will bring strong leadership and people management abilities. In the director’s role, they must use strategic and tactical thinking to maintain high availability of business critical voice and data networks as well as develop new features and functionality to meet the needs of several different business lines. To do this they must be able to understand multiple complex systems and technology at a detail level in a constantly changing environment.
Excellent communication, documentation and presentation skills are critical for this leadership position.
A flexible, organized work style is necessary to balance the needs for daily support versus the need for long term projects.
Bilingual in Spanish /English is a plus
