How do our BMW Advance Diagnostic Technicians Drive Impact?

Our BMW Advanced Diagnostic Technicians come in everyday and work hands on at our dealership alongside pros of the industry. You will be an integral part of our service team by performing these actions:

Perform advanced diagnostic and repair work

Diagnose and repair to specifications- brake and hydraulic, exhaust, primary and/or advanced fuel ignition and electrical, suspension and alignment, air conditioning, and computer systems

Perform vehicle maintenance and repairs while following standard operating procedures and safety guidelines, as well as being held to meeting pre-determined performance standards.

Responsible for handling work on the Exhaust system of a vehicle, changing and rotating tires, battery installation and battery cable replacement

Perform installation of accessories and shock absorbers

Responsible for replacing coolant hoses, mirrors, belts, signals, W/S washers, head Lamps and bulbs as well as aligning and replacing the lamp assembly and courtesy switch

Perform brake inspections, wheel balancing, drains and flushes, as well as door and window adjustments

Clean and Replace P.C.V

Diagnose and fix squeaks and rattles, wind noise and water leaks

Perform manufacturer recalls

Perform work as outlined on the repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership and factory standards

Examine assigned vehicle to determine if further safety or service work is required or recommended

Road test vehicles when required

Document all work performed on the repair order

Utilization of Truvideo/Estimate Tool

Must wear safety eyewear at all times when in dealership service departments

Must wear hard-toed shoes and slip resistant footwear in when in dealership service departments

What We're Looking For:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Automotive degree/certificate or minimum of 4 years related professional experience required
  • Current G1, A1-A9, L1, and L3 ASE Certifications required
  • Ideal candidate will have prior dealership experience
  • Must be able to remain up to date on required manufacturer training
  • Must be able to reach, bend, stoop, kneel, lift (up to 50 lbs.), and be on your feet for extended periods of time.
  • Must be able to lift, lower, push, leverage, and manipulate equipment and/or items weighing up to 50 lbs
  • Must be reliable and have a good work ethic
  • Must work well as a member of a team
  • Ability to drive manual transmission vehicles strongly preferred
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
