About The Job

Popular YouTube creator with over 20 million subscribers on the main channel (and rapidly growing sub channels/socials) is looking to hire a freelance to full time Assistant Editor! Ideal candidates are detail oriented, collaborative, and eager to learn. We are looking to build and invest in a core post team that understands the content we create, so we are open to a variety of experience levels.

What you will be doing:

n

n

• Synchronizing footage and audio to create assemblies of a variety of content, ranging from multi-camera shoots to vlogs
  
  

n

• Initial content trims on video assemblies to create an extended rough cut
  
  

n

• Assisting editors with support tasks including searching for footage and creating/adjusting minor FX, such as open captions
  
  

n

• Working closely with the Post Supervisor and Lead Editors to improve efficiency for the post department, including longer term projects like maintaining and organizing shared asset libraries, and documenting processes and workflows

For Full Time We offer:

• Salary Range: 35-50k

Job Requirements

n

n

• Our post team is currently fully remote - so ability to work from a home set up is required.
  
  

n

• Must be proficient in Premiere Pro and have a general knowledge of Adobe products.u0026
  
  

n

• Experience with the larger Adobe suite, especially Photoshop and After Effects, is a plus.
  
  

n

• Experience with Maxon Universe, especially PluralEyes, is a plus.
  
  

n

• Experience editing for social media (TikTok, Instagram, etc) is a plus.
  
  

n

• Prior to being brought on full time, there will be a trial freelance period to make sure the role is a good fit.u0026
