Job title: Procurement Leader

Salary: From £46,000

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Contract management – major subcontract & transactional
  • Being accountable for all related Supply Chain activity in line with area of responsibility
  • Developing and applying activities that deliver on People (Resourcing & Capabilities), Process, Technology & reporting which support the successful delivery of the SC function
  • Communicating effectively with functional and external stakeholder management and deputise for the SC Senior Manager as required
  • You will be managing / coaching a team of professionals

Your Skills And Experiences

  • Supply Chain, Procurement or Project Management experience
  • Excellent Stakeholder Management
  • ERP & PLM System knowledge
  • Microsoft Package User
  • Experience of working within aerospace, defence and/or MOD packages
  • Previously held line management responsibility

The Procurement Team

As a Procurement leader at BAE Systems, you will be deployed to some of our major projects, enabling & empowering the team through the delivery of People, Process, Toolsets & Reporting. This is a Fast paced, commercial procurement environment with a varied range of development opportunities, working as part of a diverse team to deliver part of the UK’s National Defence Programme. We offer relocation support packages across all Submarines roles, subject to meeting eligibility criteria.
