Job Description

We are looking for a Senior Academic Counselor who is enthusiastic, dedicated and has an in-depth understanding of the student visa application process for various countries such as the USA, UK, Canada, Australia, Ireland & others countries. The candidate should also have a good knowledge of global education trends and overseas study opportunities. The role involves guiding students who are pursuing higher education, providing them with the necessary resources, support, and direction to excel in their academic journey, and helping them achieve their career goals. Ancile Academy is seeking a qualified candidate who can perform all these duties with expertise and dedication.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct online/telephonic and/or in-person counselling sessions with students interested in studying abroad
• Guide students on what courses to opt for based on their profile and interest
• Maintain accurate records of counselling sessions, student progress, and any interventions provided. Ensure confidentiality and data security.
• Assist students in deciding on the universities/colleges and programs to opt for
• Assist in preparing and filing their applications
• Guiding students with the visa process and visa applications
• Work on developing various processes and training material for the team
• Participate in educational activities such as exhibitions and events as and when required
  
  

Required Experience, Skills & Qualifications

• 3 – 4 years of proven experience of counselling students on Admissions to foreign universities especially with USA universities
• Bachelor's or master's degree in education
• Understanding of various courses and career options across various disciplines
• Experience in guiding students on the course option based on the student's profile and career interests
• Sound understanding of the admission process for post-graduate diploma, and Master' degrees in the USA, Canada, UK, and Australia
• Experience having worked on student visa application process for various countries such as the USA, UK, Canada, and Australia
• Strategize and participate in Educational & business developmental activities
• Outstanding oral, written and interpersonal communication skills
