Key Responsibilities
Design and develop innovative wheel and braking systems for motorcycles, ensuring performance, safety, and reliability.
Create detailed 3D models and 2D drawings of wheels and brake components using Creo CAD software.
Conduct simulations and analyses to validate design concepts and optimize performance for both wheels and brakes.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product development, manufacturing, and quality assurance, to ensure seamless integration of wheels and brake systems.
Perform design reviews, tolerance analyses, and DFMEA (Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis) for wheels and brakes.
Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and regulations related to motorcycle wheels and braking systems.
Prepare and present technical reports and documentation for internal and external stakeholders.
Participate in prototype testing and validation, analyzing results to inform design improvements for wheels and brakes.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
Proven experience in motorcycle wheel and brake system design and development.
Expertise in Creo 3D CAD software for modeling and drafting.
Strong understanding of materials, manufacturing processes, and assembly techniques relevant to wheels and brake systems.
Experience with simulation tools and techniques for performance and durability analysis.
Knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to motorcycle wheels and braking systems.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related field.
Experience with other CAD software and simulation tools.
Prior experience working in the motorcycle or automotive industry.
Familiarity with project management and product lifecycle management (PLM) tools.
