Senior Tax Accountant

Job Description

Position Summary

JT and Associates, a CPA firm located in Elm Grove, is looking to add a Senior Tax or Accounting Associate to their team. The Senior Associate is responsible for performing professional accounting duties in support of various accounting and tax functions. The duties will include but not be limited to:

Primary Responsibilities

• Preparing financial analyses and reports.
• Maintain regulatory compliance.
• Assistance with financial and tax audits.
• Prepare and review financial statements.
• Analyze financial information and records.
• Payroll and tax related services.
• Prepare and review federal and state income tax returns.
  
  

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
• Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office products and financial reporting tools
• Well-rounded knowledge of accounting principles and tax regulations
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact with multiple levels of clients and management
• Experienced individual preferred
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Detail oriented
• Excellent customer service skills including patience and flexibility
