Senior Manager, Benefits & Wellness

Position

Job Purpose

This role combines the responsibilities of managing projects with overseeing the administration of employee benefits and compliance programs. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership abilities, exceptional organizational skills, and a comprehensive understanding of project management methodologies, benefits administration, retirement plans practices and ensuring compliance with laws such as ERISA, HIPAA, and ACA, managing audits and reporting.

Tasks And Responsibilities

Benefits Administration

  • Works closely with C&B Coordinator to ensure the accuracy of all benefits eligibility information in HRIS System and Payroll systems (Core HR & UKG).
  • Develops all Benefit Communication in collaboration with LVMH Shared Services.
  • Oversee benefits enrollment processes, including communication, education, and enrollment support.
  • Leads all new-hire benefit orientations/training sessions for retail and corporate employees.
  • Leads Quarterly Wellness initiatives for both retail and corporate.
  • Partners with LVMH Shared Services during the open enrollment process.
  • Responsible for managing third party vendor relationship as well as partnering with C&B coordinator for all FMLA and disability-related leaves of absence, ensuring appropriate communication and adherence to law, advises Senior Director of C&B of all leave situations.
  • Processes monthly VEBA Billing statements for submission to HR controlling.
  • Handles all Workers Comp Claims with the assistance of C&B Coordinator.
  • Partners with C&B Coordinator and Payroll to ensure that employee paid leave, voluntary deductions etc. are up to date to ensure accurate payout as well as adjust any discrepancies.
  • Completes salary, benefits, and other HR related surveys.
  • Oversee the administration of retirement benefit plans, including 401(k), and other retirement savings programs.
  • Educate employees about the retirement benefit options available to them, providing guidance on plan features, enrollment procedures, investment options, and contribution limits.
  • Coordinate with C&B Coordinator to ensure accurate and timely processing of retirement plan contributions, distributions, loans, and other transactions.
  • Covid Management.

Compliance Management

  • Lead and oversee the planning, execution, tracking and completion of multiple projects within defined timelines including but not limited to family sales, yearly compliance campaign, maintenance of I9, floor plans, Company Policies, etc.
  • Conduct periodic audits and reviews of 401k retirement benefit plans to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, identifying and resolving any issues or discrepancies.
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations and laws governing employee benefits, including ERISA, HIPAA, ACA, and other relevant legislation.
  • Stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and industry trends affecting employee benefits.
  • Develop project scopes, objectives, and timelines.
  • Coordinate resources, including personnel, to ensure project success.
  • Monitor project progress and address any issues or delays promptly and escalate when necessary to Senior Director of C&B.
  • Implement project management best practices and methodologies to optimize efficiency and quality of deliverables.
  • Prepares special reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or similar software
  • Experience with UKG UltiPro, SAP Success Factors & Kronos is a plus
  • Customer service focused

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources or a related field
  • 5 years of experience, preferably in an HR/Payroll/Benefits capacity
  • Strong PC Skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong planning and organizational skills
  • Experience with benefits administration software and HRIS systems.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills

Profile

The selected candidate will be offered a salary within the range of $130,000-$150,000 per annually, plus bonus eligibility. The salary offered will be dependent upon the candidate’s relevant skills and experience.
