Your Role on the Team
Position Summary
Under the general supervision of the Medical/Surgical Director, the Wound Care RN is responsible for providing direct patient care in accordance with recognized nursing procedures, established Wound Care standards of care and according to physician orders. The Wound Care RN as a case manager, manages all nursing aspects of patient care and supports the LRMC philosophy and policy and procedure.

Required Qualifications
Current CA RN License
Current BLS certification
2 year acute care RN experience
1-2 years wound care experience.
Must possess the skill, knowledge and ability essential to the successful performance of assigned duties
Must demonstrate customer service skills appropriate to the job
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the Health System
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of University and medical center organizations, policies, procedures and forms
Wound care certification
Must be able to transfer and lift patients as necessary
Must have the dexterity, coordination, and visual auditory acruity to perform all job responsibilities
Must be able to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
Must be free from signs of illness and infections
