We are seeking a Proposal Coordinator who will be a key member of a collaborative marketing team. You will produce top-quality proposals, manage deadlines and content creation related to the RFP process. This includes crafting compelling stories and imagery with the marketing team's support. While this position is on point for managing the proposal process, including coordination with the firm’s leadership and technical staff, it also contributes to the department’s work of event coordination and content creation for awards, social media, web, and media. The Proposal Coordinator will be dedicated to the success of all marketing programs at DES.
In this role, you will
Lead teams in winning project pursuits through research, strategy, and execution
Prepare and produce proposals, qualification packages, presentations, and other materials including writing copy and designing graphics as needed
Information gathering for industry-related surveys and communications
Assist with DES-sponsored events
Assist in the organization and maintenance of CRM database and content
Assist with social media content
Requirements
Minimum of five years of proposal experience in Architecture, Engineering, or Construction industry
Knowledge of the procurement process
Ability to read and analyze RFPs and RFQs
Ability to prepare and produce a high volume of proposals
Ability to keep up and thrive in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment
Ability to manage work on multiple projects and respond effectively to shifting priorities
Strong commitment to quality and attention to detail
Team player with an upbeat attitude and collaborative spirit
Strong communication skills and ability to craft a story
Proficient graphic design skills (layout of art and copy)
Advanced knowledge of Adobe InDesign and experience with other Adobe Creative Cloud programs
CRM experience preferred
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Architecture/Design, or a related field
Ability to work in a hybrid work environment, work onsite in our Redwood City or San Francisco office on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without any restrictions or requirements of visa sponsorship now or in the future
The typical pay range for this position is $80,000-95,000 in total compensation. Compensation depends on the individual's skills, experience, education, ang geographic location.
