Project Engineer

Hill International is seeking a Project Engineer in Columbus, Ohio

Responsibilities:

• Prepare, schedule, coordinate and monitor assigned projects
• Monitor compliance to applicable codes, practices, QA/QC policies, performance standards and specifications
• Interact daily with the clients to interpret their needs and requirements and represent them in the field
• Perform overall quality control of the work (budget, schedule, plans, personnel’s performance) and report regularly on project status
• Cooperate and communicate effectively with construction manager and other project participants to provide assistance and technical support
• Review engineering deliverables and initiate appropriate corrective actions
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Construction Management or equivalent from an accredited university
• 0-3 years of engineering/construction experience
• Passed Fundamentals of Engineering exam is a plus
• Water/Wastewater experience is a plus
• Proficiency with MS Office software required
• P6 scheduling experience is a plus
