Office Manager

Beacon Hill Boston, MA

Our client, an insurance company located in Boston, is seeking an office manager. This is a temporary opportunity and can compensate up to $34/hr. depending on experience. Qualified candidates are encouraged to apply today for immediate consideration!

Responsibilities:

  • Be the project owner for an office move
  • Partner with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the office move project remains on schedule and within budget
  • Manage Boston and Atlanta hubs to ensure hubs meet the needs of employees and enables a hybrid working model
  • Manage mail, order office supplies or furniture, manage desk booking system, and the building management
  • Manage vendors and partners for each hub
  • Assist the broader people team with ad-hoc projects

Qualifications:

  • Experience in office management, facilities and vendor management, administration, and project management
  • Experience managing a previous office move and consulting with external vendors and partners
  • Demonstrated experience of being able to switch between creating a vision and executing at pace
  • You have stellar attention to detail, time management, customer service, and prioritization skills
  • Experience managing a budget and prioritizing decisions accordingly
  • Ability to leverage Google Sheets or MS Excel to manage large sets of data
  • Ability to lift up to 30 pounds as needed
