NextGen Digital Media Producer - North Campus

To further the Gospel of Christ to the next generation through video production, graphic design, live productions, and social media at Prestonwood Baptist Church North Campus (PBC NC).

Responsibilities

• Responsible for all video content and graphics for NextGen at NC
• Collaborate with staff to bring ideas to life through video and stage presentations
• Promote NextGen events in digital form, including social media
• Coordinate with staff, students, and parents on shooting video projects
• Produce countdowns and series bumper videos
• Enlist, train, encourage, and direct students and/or adult volunteers to use their gifts in video production
• Responsible for the routine maintenance and inventory of NextGen video equipment
• Maintain video shoot schedules
• Maintain an archive of video projects and manage NextGen platforms
• Attend and coordinate all video needs for scheduled NextGen events, camps and trips
• Coordinate with other departments on NextGen graphic design needs
• Other duties as assigned
  
  

Requirements

• Growing relationship with Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior as an active member of PBC NC
• Have a joyful passion for NextGen and Children’s ministries
• Excellent planning and organizational skills
• Strong communication skills, both oral and written
• Prior professional/business experience in video editing
• Knowledge in scripting, directing, cinematography, lighting and sound techniques
• Able to work in a team environment
• Self-starter who can take direction, but also think outside the box
• Experience in Adobe Creative Cloud; Premier, Photoshop, After Effects and Illustrator and/or Final Cut X
• Ability to work varying schedules including evenings and weekends (general schedule Sun-Th)
• Able to perform physical activities that require moving one’s whole body, such as walking, stooping, lifting, pushing/pulling a cart, and use of stairs; able to lift 30 pounds without assistance
