Full Stack Web Developer - HYBRID
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Software Engineer II with C# and full stack web development experience. As a Software Engineer II, you will write, support, debug, and enhance the software for car wash point-of-sale and tunnel control applications. This is a hands-on development role, where you will participate in the design and specification of new features and new products, working closely with the product owner and other stakeholders. You will also work with the operations and support organization to provide client support for DRB Systems’ products.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities

- Participates in design of new products and features.
- May develop specifications for product features or components.
- Aids in designing “proofs of concept” exercises.
- Participates in creating work estimates, project schedules, and assessing project risks.
- May participate in architectural decision making.
- Implements quality code according to DRB’s approved software development methods.
- Submits code for and participates in regular reviews focusing on architecture, styles and standards, and functionality.
- Meets stated milestone dates and deadlines.
- Reviews product documentation, test plans, etc. for technical accuracy.
- Works with other departments such as QA and customer support on escalated technical issues.
- Interfaces with various types of hardware and third-party software programs.
- Troubleshoots hardware and software problems.
- Performs unit-level-test code for quality and functionality.
- Review and approve QA test plans.
- Evaluates development processes for improvements.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field, or similar relevant experience is required.
- 3-5 years of experience demonstrating increasing levels of responsibility in complex systems and engineering environments, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Knowledge of software architecture, design, security, and cryptography concepts.
- Considerable experience with C#, JavaScript, HTML CSS, and SQL.
- Experience with .NET Framework, WPF, Angular, AngularJS, LAMP, PHP, REST.
- Experience in Windows OS/Server, version/change control software (knowledge of Azure DevOps & Git preferred), Microsoft Office.
- Working knowledge of sockets, serial communications, multi-tasking, and general networking.
- Experience in Windows OS, include threading and services.
- Familiar with XML and JSON data types.
- Ability to debug, troubleshoot and unit test the software developed.
- Ability to adapt to new programming and work environments quickly.
- Experience with Object Pascal language, and Embarcadero Delphi IDE.
- Android (Java), iOS (Swift, Objective-C).
- Certifications (MCPD, MCSD, MCSE, MCDBA).
- Ability to create and generate reports, track metrics, create presentations
- Knowledgeable in MS Office (Excel, Word, Power Point)
