Clinical Team Leader - Adolescent Behavioral Health

Scope Of Position

Oversees the daily operations the PHP, IOP and Outpatient service. Supervises clinical services, markets the program, coordinates referrals and provides direct service.

Requirements

  • Leadership skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of psychiatric procedures, terminology, and conditions affecting the population served.
  • Knowledge of and ability to provide treatment modalities including individual, group and family therapy.
  • Knowledge of Joint Commission, State and Federal regulations specific to the unit and population served.
  • Ability to interact professionally and confidentially with patients, families, outside organizations and other disciplines.
  • Ability to work independently in an unstructured environment including exposure to all patient elements. i.e., blood borne pathogens, assaultive behaviors, and physical requirements, lifting and pulling of patients. Pushing wheelchairs and standing and walking.

Acceptable Experience And Training

  • Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Social Work, Counseling or related discipline
  • Professional License in State of CT
  • Minimum 3 years clinical experience
