Supply Chain Specialist

Logista Retail is the company specialized in distributing Logista’s convenience products. This subsidiary allows the points of sales to complement (POS) their existing offer and improve their revenue and profit thanks to a vast array of products and services adapted to the POS and their clients, such as items for smokers and those related to tobacco, stationery, confectionery, food products, accessories for technologies, tobacco, etc.

The Supply Chain Specialist is responsible for the smooth flow of goods from warehouses to retailers, optimizing processes to minimize costs, and ensuring a reliable and efficient supply chain operation.

ACTIVITIES

• Logistics Management: overseeing the movement of goods from warehouses to retailers. This includes transportation, warehousing, and distribution
• Collaboration: Working closely with cross-functional teams such as marketing, sales, and buying to ensure alignment of purchasing activities with organizational goals and objectives.
• Inventory Management: Monitoring inventory levels, optimizing stock levels to meet demand while minimizing excess, and implementing strategies to reduce inventory costs.
• Supplier Management: Building and maintaining relationships with suppliers, monitoring purchasing orders, and resolving any issues or disputes that impact on purchasing orders.
• Continuous Improvement: Identifying opportunities for process improvement with other functions and implementing best practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
• Cost Management: Analyzing costs associated with procurement activities, identifying opportunities for cost savings, and implementing cost reduction initiatives.
• Data Analysis: Utilizing data analytics results to gain insights into the supply chain performance. This helps in making informed decisions and identifying areas for improvement

REQUIREMENTS

• Masters Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain field
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in the role, with a proven track record
• Track record in Food & Beverage industry
• English B2; Spanish is a plus
• Microsoft Office (Excel & Power Point)
