The Position

Embark on an exhilarating journey as our Global Distributor & Wholesaler Excellence Manager in Ingelheim. This unique role is the linchpin of our commercial excellence strategy, driving the implementation and execution of key Distributor & Wholesaler capabilities that fuel our global ambitions.

As the recognized expert, your pragmatic approach to developing distributor/wholesaler channel capabilities will shape our global and local teams. Your leadership will inspire, mentor, and guide them towards success.

Your expertise will empower our Commercial Excellence teams, marketers, and sales teams, enabling them to leverage the distributor and wholesaler channel for daily business growth. This is an opportunity for you to make a significant impact and take the lead in driving growth within our organisation.

Tasks & Responsibilities

  • In your new role you will set of overall Distributor & Wholesaler strategy and the definition of the strategic goals
  • Furthermore, you will allocate and set the budget and resources in line with the strategy of the respective channel, constantly improving effectiveness and efficiency
  • You will define, lead and govern the Distributor & Wholesaler capabilities. Manages cross functional capability enhancement
  • Also, you will assure the implementation of the capabilities with high standards and enable global, regional and local capabilities by providing physical and online training; creating, consolidating and providing material, ensuring (best practice) sharing across countries
  • Finally, you will assure cross-functional support for capability enablement with the related channels, and you will ensure compliance of the related services and processes in line with the local and global Animal Health (AH) industry standards


Requirements

  • Master’s Degree from an accredited institution and / or MBA preferred with serval years’ experience of Distributors & Wholesalers (B2B or FMCG) and their related capabilities
  • Must have experience in upgrading, governing, and executing Distributor & Wholesaler capabilities/competencies/skills and plans to perform at a high level within a Country or Region
  • Profound project management experience with the ability to operate independently and immediately to drive a global program to improve how we do business with Distributor & Wholesaler
  • Strong commercial focus and good experience of setting profitable contractual conditions with Distributor & Wholesaler
  • Communications skills and the ability to independently interface with senior management levels as well as the regional teams
  • Ideally at least few years’ experience of the Animal Health business environment and the relevant key stakeholders
  • Fluency in English and the ability to travel internationally and nationally (>20% includes overnight travel)
