Summary:
As a Quality Engineer, you are responsible for coordinating the investigation, troubleshooting, tracking, and execution of corrective actions for customer complaints, internal issues, and supplier issues. You will be responsible for managing the test equipment calibration.
What You’ll Do:
Coordinate and execute root cause investigation, tracking, and executions for internal and external issues
Track and review corrective and preventive actions using CAPA methodology
Conduct audits, creating audits finding reports and determine proper corrective and preventive actions
Analyze the root causes and implement corrective actions for processes or parts that have concerns
Develop and manage data analysis of product quality trends
Manage testing equipment calibration program
Determines quality improvement parameters by identifying statistical methods relevant to manufacturing processes
Understand and interpret all manufacturing audits, including ISO 9001 and other industry standards
Support new product launches, ensuring compliance with established standards
Contribute in the development and implementation of systems, policies, and procedures for selecting and qualifying new suppliers, as well as monitoring capabilities and performance of existing Suppliers
Support quality goals and objectives along with activities to identify, explain and resolve quality issues
Other duties as assigned
What You’ll Bring:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering field, or 5 years of equivalent experience
Minimum of 2 years of experience in quality control, quality assurance in manufacturing
Demonstrable knowledge of manufacturing process and production equipment
Knowledge of quality system methodologies
ASQ CQE certification is an asset
Experience with Project Management, Lean Six Sigma principles
Ability to interpret engineering drawings
Data analysis using Excel and database tools
Experience using ERP systems
Familiarity with requirements such as Counterfeit Parts Prevention, FOD and ESD controls, etc
