The Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for ensuring compliance with company policies, optimizing travel spend, and providing guidance to employees regarding their travel bookings.
  • Provide training and guidance to employees on booking tools, company policies and reimbursement procedures/requirements.
  • Monitor travel and cost trends, identify opportunities for cost savings, and recommend strategies for improvement.
  • Prepare regular reports and presentations on travel and expense metrics, and policy compliance for management review.
  • Travel projects/enhancement and process improvement support including but not limited to updating company policies
  • Be a trusted point of contact for all employee queries related to travel-related issues
  • Help drive travel costs down
  • Serve as point of contact for employees regarding travel issues and escalations
  • Hold new employee Navan travel training
  • Ensure that updated travel policies, procedures, and system changes are communicated to the company in a timely and effective manner

The Requirements:

  • Advanced knowledge of Navan (previously TripActions) travel and expense tools is preferred
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to problem-solve unconventional and common issues with minimum supervision or direction and to promote and enforce safe work practices
  • Availability outside of typical business hours in emergent travel situations
  • Detail-oriented and organized, with a focus on accuracy and compliance
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • 2-4 years in travel-related industry, including a vast understanding of airline and hotel policies
  • Excellent communication skills as this role requires communication with travelers daily via email, Teams, and phone
  • Understanding of the travel distribution systems - GDS, NDC, etc.- is preferred
  • Located in ET working hours.
