About The Opportunity
We have an opportunity for a Supervisor, Technical Services to join the Centerra Langeloth team. This position is an onsite role based in Langeloth, PA.
Reporting to the Manager, Quality the position of Supervisor, Technical Services is responsible for overseeing the QA Laboratory, including the supervision of Laboratory Analysts, to support scientific research, quality assurance, and development activities.
Your Responsibilities Will Include, But Are Not Limited To
Oversee and supervise the daily operations of the QA Laboratory and personnel.
Establish performance criteria for all test methods.
Assist cross-functional teams in the resolution of customer complaints and/or concerns.
Ensure all laboratory instruments are functioning properly and troubleshoot/repair instruments when required.
Work with the Manager, Quality Assurance to revise, develop, document, and implement routine/non-routine methods.
Develop alternative wet chemical or instrumental methods for increased laboratory versatility.
Serve as an internal auditor to assess the organization’s compliance with the ISO Standard.
Ensure all laboratory personnel are trained and proficient in all test methods.
Maintain adequate supplies and reagents for laboratory operations.
Ensures compliance with quality assurance procedures.
Prepare reports and summaries of findings.
About You
The following will be critical to successfully performing this role:
Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Material Science Engineering, or related.
Minimum of 5 years supervisory experience in a manufacturing laboratory.
ISO 9001 Internal Auditor certification.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to learn plant operations methods/practices.
