Job Description Summary Global Facilities – Operational Project Manager will be responsible for project operations and programs support including standardization, quality management, document management, methods creation and maintenance, process improvement and tools for the project management function. Projects will be directly related to Facilities and Maintenance Framework, Facilities Master Planning, and Real Estate Portfolio. Outcomes will influence budgets and operating plans. Work will be with cross functional teams. The role has autonomy within the operational area or a segment within a larger business unit with high levels of evaluative judgment and operational acumen are required to achieve outcomes. Roles And Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement the strategy for Facilities Framework and supporting components of the broader Global Facilities function.
  • Direct alignment with projects supporting Facilities Master Planning to centralize shared resources to execute customer projects and/or project monitoring activities.
  • Lead creative solutions for alignment of Facilities and Maintenance operations with Frontline Teams through training development.
  • Influences policy, procedures, playbooks, and standards to ensure delivery within area of responsibility, linking with other parts of the organization.
  • Interprets internal and external business challenges and recommends best practices to improve products, processes, or services.
  • Utilizes understanding of industry trends to inform decision making process and identify opportunities for GE Aerospace Global Facilities.
  • Leads others to find creative solutions within complex manufacturing processes with technical variety and/or interdependent production cycles.
  • Interaction with adjacent functions needed to solve issue across the Delivery, Infrastructure, and Lean Operations.
  • Has the ability to evaluate quality of information received and questions conflicting data for analysis. Uses multiple internal and external resources outside of own function to help arrive at a decision.
  • May lead functional teams or projects with moderate resource requirements, risk, and/or complexity. Presents business or technical discipline solutions to leaders. Communicates complex messages and negotiates internally with others to adopt a different point of view. Influences peers to take action and may negotiate with external partners, vendors, or customers.

Minimum Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree accredited college or university
  • Minimum of 5 years of Commercial Real Estate experience
  • Be able to travel up to 25% globally.

  • 10 to 15 years of Industrial Commercial Real Estate Preferred.

This role requires access to U.S. export-controlled information. If applicable, final offers will be contingent on ability to obtain authorization for access to U.S. export-controlled information from the U.S. Government.
