TalentWealth Recruiting, a boutique financial services recruiting firm, is recruiting for an exciting opportunity. An independent RIA with over $10 Billion AUM based in NYC is hiring a Senior Portfolio Administrator to their growing team. Our client is seeking a polished and organized professional with some experience in all areas of portfolio administration to join a successful and growing asset management firm. This position interfaces with clients, interested parties and all levels of employees on a daily basis.


Some of the responsibilities would be:

  • Manage all client inquiries and ad hoc requests such as account information, reporting, check request, wire/fund transfers and other account services requests.
  • Work closely with Portfolio Managers, custodians, accountants, lawyers and interested parties to resolve any account-related issues.
  • Complete all tasks related to the opening of new accounts, the transfer of accounts and closed account processing for your Portfolio Managers’ client base
  • Coordinate and process all paperwork as needed for accounts and client relationship
  • Maintain all client information and account records according to our electronic archiving procedure
  • Setup and validate clients and interested parties on our secure website portal
  • Document all client servicing activities on our portfolio management system according to firm procedures


Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 7 years of experience in client servicing with an RIA or financial advisory practice
  • Extensive knowledge of financial services and investments industry
  • Polished and organized
  • Excellent verbal and written communication is required
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask
  • Ability to quickly learn the investment management process, securities, portfolio management and reporting systems, and trading systems specific to the firm
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Products: Outlook, Excel, Word and Power Point
  • Computer savvy and ability to quickly navigate through multiple systems
  • Strong initiative and work ethic, and an ability to work both within a team and on a self directed basis
  • Ability and willingness to work additional hours if necessary to complete core responsibilities
