The Sales Consultant is responsible for selling pressure sensitive labels and film packaging to various targeted markets. The Sales Consultant will submit specifications to estimating, prepare quotes and provide technical assistance to clients. Responsible for developing a business relationship with the client base to facilitate and ensure client satisfaction and future business.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Identify prospective clients and the specific buyers in those companies. Drive marketing efforts to educate buyers about GPG products and services
Actively network and advance new relationship opportunities
Provide technical assistance and coordinate solutions for key accounts.
Prepare quotations and pricing. Work with management to negotiate terms and pricing on sales contracts.
Ensure customer satisfaction with excellent support, consultation, and presentation skills.
Coordinate sales efforts with other departments; ensure customer purchase and service requirements are being met.
Make periodic visits to customers.
Oversee the sales process to meet or exceed annual volume and profit goals
Comply with company rules and regulations
Maintain confidentiality of company-sensitive data
Keep manager/supervisor informed of activities and situations that will impact the achievement of corporate or department goals and objectives
Perform other related duties as required to achieve the goals and objectives of the department and company
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
Four-year college degree
Outside sales within the label industry: 3 – 5 years (Preferred)
Packaging industry: 1 - 3 years (Preferred)
