The Revenue Cycle Billing Specialist performs detailed reimbursement duties in support of New River Valley Community Services centralized Accounts Receivable/Billing Department. Work primarily involves, but is not limited to, submission of claim files, retrieval of detailed payer responses, remittance files and routine follow up on outstanding accounts receivable.
**$2,000 Sign on Bonus**
Starting Salary: $40,000-Depending on Experience
Education/Experience Required:
Associates Degree in Business/Accounting or equivalent with practical experience
Minimum of two (2) years reimbursement/electronic billing experience with Medicaid or third party insurance programs.
Considerable knowledge of computer equipment, medical collections techniques, and electronic claims submission processes desirable.
Additional compensation will be considered for any new employees who speak multiple languages.
