As the Army’s primary integrator of C5ISR technologies and systems, the U.S. Army Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Cyber, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (C5ISR) Center conducts Research and Development, or R&D, across a wide variety of capability areas that support all of the Army’s Modernization priorities. These include cyberspace operations, electronic warfare, intelligence, data analysis and fusion, tactical network design, wireless communications, radar, sensors, electro-optics, mission command applications, autonomy and machine learning, power and energy, modeling and simulation, counter-IED, minefield detection/defeat and assured positioning, navigation and timing. It is through employment of a dedicated and superior workforce, world class facilities and global partnerships that the C5ISR Center delivers needed capabilities to our Warfighters.


We are looking for experienced Engineers to serve in the ESI Readiness Engineering Portfolio, Fielded Systems Engineering, Command, Control, Communications Tactical (C3T) Division.


Responsibilities:

  • Work is performed in the Production/Manufacturing/Integration/Quality/Test/Experimentation domain.
  • Conducts studies and analyses to determine the feasibility of various advanced engineering approaches for future programs or to resolve major controversial problems in current programs.
  • Conducts studies on the feasibility of developing new products and/or theories pertaining to new applications of existing products.
  • Serves as an expert advisor for these broad and complex programs that advance the state-of-the-art.
  • Applies a wide range of engineering and scientific principles and theories to project performance and operating characteristics.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a STEM (ABET accredited) program, or a closely related discipline
  • Supporting the development of products and technologies related to wireless telecommnications applying radio frequency (RF) and mixed signal (analog and digital) capabilities.
  • Analyzing vendor provided designs, modeling and prediction, and compatibility with existing or proposed systems.
  • Analyzing engineering/scientific data for use in program/project improvements, systems integration, and/or troubleshooting.
  • Providing lifecycle systems engineering support to the acquisition process including requirements decomposition, technical planning, specification preparation, technical analyses, risk management, decision support, and acquisition milestones.
  • Understanding and use of LORA, COMPASS, & SESAME and understanding of incident metrics such as MTBF and MTTR
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment
