The University of Rochester Medical Center (URMC, Rochester, NY) is recruiting a junior level tenure-track faculty member to complement current strong research programs in the area of Microbiology & Immunology. We are seeking an outstanding researcher who will establish an innovative research program within the scientific areas of microbial pathogens, the microbiome, and antimicrobial therapeutic development.

Research focus may include, but are not limited to, bacterial pathogenesis, ESKAPE pathogens, host-microbiome interactions in human health and disease, and novel antimicrobial and vaccine development

Qualifications:
PhD, MD, DO, or equivalent degree
Successful research experience in a relevant discipline
