The University of Rochester Medical Center (URMC, Rochester, NY) is recruiting a junior level tenure-track faculty member to complement current strong research programs in the area of Microbiology & Immunology. We are seeking an outstanding researcher who will establish an innovative research program within the scientific areas of microbial pathogens, the microbiome, and antimicrobial therapeutic development.

  • Research focus may include, but are not limited to, bacterial pathogenesis, ESKAPE pathogens, host-microbiome interactions in human health and disease, and novel antimicrobial and vaccine development

Qualifications:

  • PhD, MD, DO, or equivalent degree
  • Successful research experience in a relevant discipline
