the role

We are seeking a Managing Consultant to craft project strategy that surfaces next-level insights rooted in stakeholder perspectives, directly leading clients to take action and execute their work in new, transformative ways. This new-to-CoSpero role calls for a strategic thinker, entrepreneurial problem solver, relational jedi, and agent of social change to lead the following work:

Oversee and deliver services across a portfolio of 10-15 projects (60%)

  • Monitor detailed project plans; develop and execute risk management plans; establish strategy, approach, and criteria for client deliverables; track performance of each project against established scope of work; guide team to meet/exceed client expectations
  • Commit to continual innovation and growth in pursuit of community flourishing

Cultivate client and community relationships (20%)

  • Serve as a key point of contact for maintaining and enhancing client relationships; serve as a change management advisor to key project stakeholders
  • Attend client and community meetings & events as needed; present recommendations to key decision makers, customizing narratives to respective audiences

Provide coaching, leadership, and support for senior and associate consultants (20%)

  • Host 1:1 meetings with each Senior and Associate Consultant; Co-create and support tailored growth plans; lead quarterly two-way feedback conversations; create or curate training materials and resources to support the ongoing development of the consulting team
  • Cultivate an environment of real-time feedback and continual improvement; facilitate effective collaboration across roles

details

Structure: This role is full-time and requires occasional evening work and travel (~4-5 days per month). The anticipated start date is September 16, 2024.

Location: CoSpero operates with a hybrid work environment. We are seeking candidates that can work from our Dallas-based office 2-3x per week.

Compensation: We believe salary should not be based on the ability to negotiate and that compensation should be transparent. We use a level and step system that connects role years of service with compensation. The salary for this role is $120K with the potential for an end-of-year bonus aligned to company goals.

Benefits: CoSpero offers a comprehensive health plan inclusive of medical, dental, vision, and life insurance. In addition, employees have up to 40 days of rest (made up of four quarterly weeks off, PTO, and federal holidays) paid family leave.
