Act as a primary contact for legislative affairs, maintaining relationships with influential congressional staff, and facilitating member interactions with policymakers.
Manage information flow to legislative committees, ensuring timely updates on federal legislative activities, and overseeing member engagement in legislative processes.
Oversee fellowship programs, including budget management, application processes, and coordination with communication teams for promotion.
Participate in coalition activities and represent the organization at various forums, providing summaries and updates to internal teams.
Generate content for communications, maintaining active engagement with key stakeholders on legislative issues.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Political Science, Social Science, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years in government relations, with strong project management skills. Experience on Capitol Hill is advantageous but not mandatory.
Excellent organizational and multitasking skills, capable of managing multiple priorities in a high-stakes environment.
Deep understanding of the legislative process and regulatory frameworks.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively under tight deadlines.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
