Human Resources Generalist

CASIO AMERICA, INC. has an exciting opportunity for a Human Resources Generalist opening in our Dover, NJ office. This highly visible role collaborates with the HR team to develop and implement effective, efficient recruitment strategies, provide knowledgeable HR guidance and solutions and execute all aspects of the human resources function required to support Casio’s sales and marketing business.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include - but are not limited - to the following:

  • Responsible for all aspects of Talent Acquisition activities for Casio
  • Conduct employee onboarding and new hire orientation
  • Preparation of quarterly and semi-annual bonus calculations for eligible sales and marketing employees
  • Ensure compliance with labor regulations
  • Assist in organizing training & development initiatives
  • Drafts/revises current Employee Handbook and HR policies and procedures as needed
  • Prepares annual EEO-1 Reports, California Pay Data Reports and DOL/BLS surveys
  • Gather and analyze data for HR reporting utilizing HR metrics (i.e., Org Charts, turnover, time to hire, headcount, retention rates, etc.)
  • Assists in addressing employee relations issues as needed
  • Writes, develops, and maintains job descriptions
  • Assists with preparing Internal Communications
  • Serves as backup for ADP Time & Attendance processing for payroll and ADP Workforce Now
  • All other duties as may be assigned by other members of management


EDUCATION And/or EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree from a college or university in a related field and three (3) – five (5) years of experience as an HR generalist (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
  • SHRM-CP/PHR/aPHR certification strongly preferred
  • Understanding of general human resources policies and procedures is essential
  • Knowledge of current employment/labor laws
  • Experience with ADP Workforce Now required
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
