Job Description:
Talent Groups is seeking a highly skilled Senior Backup and Storage Engineer to join our distributed team responsible for managing enterprise-wide backups. As the Senior Backup and Storage Engineer, you will maintain these systems and serve as an escalation point. We're seeking candidates with most of the following:
Experience and Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years of experience in Backup and Storage Administration or Engineering
Hands on experience with Rubrik in a large environment
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Technical Must-Haves:
Rubrik: At least one year of professional experience, preferably in a large environment. Experience with out-of-the-box Rubrik solutions in a distributed environment is highly desired.
Veeam: Experience in a distributed environment.
Commvault: Experience in a distributed environment.
Backup Exec: Professional experience required.
Storage Experience: Knowledge of Fiber Channel, Array Management, and Provisioning/Deprovisioning. Experience with Dell/IBM storage technologies is a plus.
