This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Pharmacist to be part of a dynamic team. You will be working as a Band 7 Pharmacist to participate in, develop and support the services provided by the Dispensary and Operational team. You will assist the Clinical Lead Operational Pharmacist in the Clinical aspects relating to the functioning of the Dispensary, Procurement, and Distribution
We are looking for an enthusiastic Pharmacist with the ability to work effectively as part of a team, through excellent communication and interpersonal skills as well as the ability to motivate themselves and others.
Act as a role model to all technical and support staff working in the Dispensary Team and gain experience in mentoring and supervising Junior Pharmacists rotating through the Dispensary.
To clinically screen TTOs and Outpatient prescriptions as required.
To develop the role of the rotational Pharmacists in the dispensary.
To ensure the dispensary’s compliance with best practice and medicines legislation.
To ensure the safe and secure management of controlled drugs in the Dispensary
To participate in on call, weekend ,Bank Holiday and late duties as per the rota
