  • Market Insight Manager EMEA is a new essential, critical role with responsibility for driving consumer, category and brand insight across EMEA

  • Role split between West London office (2 days a week) and home (3 days a week)


The role:

  • As Market Insight Manager EMEA you will be responsible for insights, market research and analytics delivering best practice to influence and drive decision making with stakeholders internally and externally.
  • The Market Insight Manager EMEA will manage 1 direct report and will be responsible for ensuring superior business and consumer understanding of the market, brands, competition etc
  • In the role the Market Insight Manager EMEA will develop competitive edge insights through analysing and disseminating data focused on market, customer and consumer behaviours such as Kantar, Neilson, IGD, Euromonitor etc. In addition, they will lead and develop consumer panel data.
  • The Market Insight Manager EMEA will manage significant budget to lead primary research working with agencies focused on brand, category, innovation, advertising etc
  • The Market Insights Manager EMEA will translate business questions into research objectives, design and programmes and will act as a consultant to the business as an advocate for customers.
  • In the role Market Insight Manager EMEA you will apply best practice across qualitative and quantitative and will innovate research capabilities testing and learning from new ways of working and technology.
  • The Market Insight Manager EMEA will be a skilled communicator, you will bring information to life through compelling engagement and storytelling to individuals and large groups.


Ideal candidate:

  • You will have in depth experience and expertise in market research and data gained from FMCG and agency, ideally you will be a certified member if MRS. This experienced will be a broad range of experience across category, brand, shopper and consumer.
  • For the Market Insight Manager EMEA you must have strong expertise in syndicated analytics working with providers such as Nielsen, Kantar etc
  • The Market Insight Manager EMEA must have strong understanding and experience of research methodologies (briefs, questionnaire design, storytelling etc) across all marketing 4 P’s and be comfortable managing agencies and budgets.
  • The Market Insight Manager EMEA must have in depth knowledge and experience of primary and secondary data analysis and be able to demonstrate a passion for understanding consumer behaviour. You will proficient with Excel and other statistical software packages
  • It is essential that you have operated in multiple markets and have an appreciation of different cultures and ways of working
  • You will be at the forefront of market research innovation including technology
  • The Market Insight Manager EMEA must have fantastic communication and presenting skills and have a consultative style along with excellent influencing skills
  • It is essential to have fantastic stakeholder engagement, relationship building and communication skills both internally and externally. You must be comfortable with ambiguity and a fast pace changing consumer environment

Benefits & details:

  • Excellent package – up to £90,000 plus car allowance, bonus and excellent benefits
  • Location = Role split between West London office (2 days a week) and home (3 days a week)
