Reed Finance is delighted to be working with our client on an exclusive retained basis to appoint a Finance Director.

This company is a fast-growing business with an acquisition mindset. This year they are expecting to see their turnover continue to grow to over £20m following on from a very successful period of profitable growth. R

Reporting directly to the Managing Director, the Finance Director will be a key member of the senior management team. Based at their Head Office in the Black Country. Working closely with the Managing Director, and the operational directors / managers in driving performance in all areas.

You will manage a finance team to ensure that highly accurate monthly accounts and reports are produced, analysed and used as a driver of the business. The Finance Director will be seen as a key ambassador for the business, supporting commercial activities, contributing to leadership decisions, undertaking an active leadership role in the continued success of the company. This is an opportunity for an ambitious, entrepreneurial individual to become part of the senior management team, with daily interaction with Managing Director & SLT.

Whilst the primary requirement of the Finance Director is to ensure accurate reporting of financial information and adequate financial controls and processes, the successful candidate will have a key input into every aspect of the running of the business, including all business support functions such as IT, HR, business, banking and accounting relationships, The successful candidate will also have an input to contract negotiations including insurance, capital expenditure evaluation, the structuring of finance agreements and commercial contracts.
