Introduction

As Senior Executive Search Manager, you will be responsible for setting up and developing a new and dedicated Executive Search (ES) function at ASML. From setting up the global infrastructure, to the definition on how we select and onboard executive leaders. In combination with this, you will be supporting HR Business Partners in identifying, selecting and offering top-tier executive talent, shaping the leadership of ASML. In this position it is expected that you are able to lead the integration of diverse and highly complex TA activities that requires collaboration with experts from other disciplines.

The primary objective of the Executive Search team is to ensure that ASML attracts and hires exceptional leaders who can drive business success and achieve strategic objectives and fit our culture. In this role you can expect to start with around 40% strategic tasks and setting things up and 60% operational work.

Skills And Qualifications
  • Recruitment expertise: proven experience in executive recruitment, preferably within a corporate environment or executive search firm.
  • Communication skills: excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate job requirements and build rapport with candidates and stakeholders.
  • Strategic thinking: strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities to understand organizational goals and align recruitment efforts with business objectives.
  • Policy development: able to create functional or operational policies and help develop policy frameworks. Takes responsibility for creating underlying procedures and monitoring their implementation.
  • Stakeholder management: able to build high levels of professional credibility and mutual trust to become a business partner in the executive search field to senior stakeholders.
  • Entrepreneurial: able to start from scratch but not afraid to be hands on.
  • Change management: able to create change and manage expectations with senior stakeholders.
  • Networking abilities: exceptional networking skills with the capability to build and maintain relationships with executive-level professionals and industry contacts.
  • Operational excellence: able to build standards for processes and procedures and lead others to meeting them. Point and analyses innovations and optimization opportunities. Initiates changes to policies, processes, standards and practices that would improve operational support, in alignment with and good understanding of cross-country/organization wide operations.
  • Negotiation skills: proficiency in negotiation techniques to secure top talent and finalize employment offers.
  • Problem-solving skills: ability to proactively identify recruitment challenges and develop creative solutions to overcome them.
  • Confidentiality: demonstrated discretion and ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.


Education And Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • Proven track record of success in executive recruitment, with at least 10 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience in policy & process development within the executive search branch.
  • People manager skills.
  • Able to demonstrate strategic & global thinking as well as business sense.
  • In-depth understanding of current and emerging external regulation and industry best practices.
  • Experienced in building and delivering new HR/TA related solutions, including project management, communication and change.
